Number of People in Charter Group- 12 Guests

The United States Coast Guard limits charter groups on this vessel to a maximum of 6 persons total. This number includes adults and children.  For larger parties we can accommodate another 6 guests for a total 12 passengers. The crew including our optional photographer are not included in the count.

Consuming Alcohol

This vessel will remain in the water of South Carolina during our charter. Therefore the laws of South Carolina will apply to your charter. South Carolina Law requires anyone consuming Alcohol to be at least 21 years of age.

Sun Screen

Please DO NOT BRING SPRAY SUNSCREEN. 

Regular squeeze sunscreen is recommended as the oils in the spray cause damage to our vessel. 

Illicit Drugs

The consumption or use of any illegal drugs on this vessel is strictly prohibited. If any of our crew members becomes aware of any illicit drugs being consumed during the charter, the cruise will immediately end and Folly’s Best Yacht will return to Charleston City Marina without notice nor refund of the time lost.

Smoking

Smoking is only allowed on the bow of the vessel. This includes vaping or any similar product. Any damages caused by fire, ash or smoking or vaping will be the responsibility of the primary charter guest to repair or replace.

Health and Welfare

The captain of the vessel is responsible for the guest aboard the vessel as well as the vessel itself. Their decision on any issue is final. Any issues that arise during the charter will be addressed to the captain. If a member of the charter is behaving in a manner that endangers the other guest or the vessel, the captain may terminate the charter at any time with no refund given.

Weapons

No weapons are allowed on the vessel. No fireworks are allowed on the vessel.

Pick Up Location

Charleston City Marina. We offer private pickup upon request. Please contact one of our team members for more details.

Weather Conditions

Our Yacht is fully prepared with roof, isinglass, as well a full covered floor to protect our guests from poor weather conditions, rain, and heavy winds. In case of a tropical storm, hurricane or any other condition where the Coast Guard determines it is not safe for the crew or passengers to be out in the water, the charter will be cancelled with the option of a full refund or rescheduling.

Cancelation Policy

-A cancellation fee of 100% applies for cancellations made less than 24 hours in advance, or in case of no show. 

-A cancellation fee of 50% applies for cancellations made less than 30 days in advance. 

-No cancellation fee applies for cancellations made 30 or more days in advance. 

Damage and Policy

Any damage caused to the Folly’s Best Yacht property is subject to a minimum charge of $300. That includes clogged toilets, throwing up on board, broken furniture, etc.

Music on Board

We offer a high quality sound system that surrounds the entirety of the vessel and it is easily connected via Bluetooth.

What is Provided

On Folly’s Best Yacht we provide a cooler with ice, water bottles as well plastic cups, plates and utensils.

What You Should Bring

Our guests are welcome to bring any sort of food and beverages. Our crew also recommend bringing sunscreen and towels to guarantee a pleasant and safe experience during the warm and sunny days in Charleston Harbor.

Departure

Guests are requested to arrive 10 minutes prior to their scheduled departure time. There will be a mandatory safety briefing prior to departure. All guests must be present for this briefing.

Weather

We have a saying in Charleston, if you don’t like the weather, wait 15 minutes and it can change. In the event weather forces the Captain to cancel your charter, you will be notified as soon as possible. Although cancellations are rare, if the captain cancels your charter due to weather, you will be given the option to reschedule or receive a full refund.

Damage

Any damage caused by a guest to the vessel, fixtures or furnishings will be the responsibility of the primary charter guest to pay for the repair or replacement.
